What you can do on this screen:

Please read the introductions. The main goal is to get the white box as bright
as possible while keeping the black box as dark as possible. The farther apart
you can get black and white the more vivid the colors will look. This is done
by adjusting the brightness and contrast settings on your monitor. Some monitors
may not have both settings while others have even more color settings.

The contrast adjustment on your monitor will seperate white from black. The higher
the contrast setting the more black and white are seperated. The lower the setting
the closer black and white will be to each other. Try setting this as high as
possible until it visibly does affect the colors diplayed on your monitor. You
may want to raise or lower it after adjusting the brightness setting of your monitor.

The brightness setting on your monitor adjusts the overall brightness of all colors
displayed by your monitor. By raising the brightness, all the colors displayed
by your monitor should increase. Lowering the brightness setting should descrease
the brightness of all the colors displayed by your monitor.

Some monitors have a red, green, and blue intensity setting. If your monitor has
these settings, setting them to the max value may help make the white brighter
and help make the colors appear more vivid.

Some CRT monitors and many LCD screens have poor brightness and constrast settings
that only sort-of-work. Try your best at getting the black box as dark as possible
while getting the white box as bright as possible.
